PAINT CORRECTION
Paint correction services are specialized treatments designed to restore and enhance the appearance of a vehicle's paintwork by removing imperfections such as swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, water spots, and other surface defects. The goal is to achieve a smooth, glossy, and flawless finish that brings out the depth and clarity of the paint.
Our paint correction services are available at multiple levels to meet a variety of budgets and goals. We have learned that not all clear coats are the same—some require different compounds, pads, and polishes to achieve optimal results. That level of expertise and experience is something we pride ourselves on, and through our consultative approach, we can match the best level of correction to the goals of all clients. All of our ceramic coating packages require some degree of paint correction.

The Paint Correction Process
Assessment & Inspection:
The process begins with a thorough inspection of the vehicle's paint condition. We identify imperfections & evaluate the severity of defects, and determine the best course of action for correction.
Washing & Decontamination:
The vehicle is thoroughly washed to remove dirt, grime, and surface contaminants. A clay bar may also be used to eliminate embedded contaminants that cannot be removed through washing alone.
-
Polishing & Abrasive Correction:
Using specialized polishing machines and various grades of polish, the technician gently removes a layer of the paint to smooth out imperfections. This is done using a combination of cutting, polishing, and finishing compounds, each designed to tackle different levels of imperfections.-
Cutting: This is the most aggressive stage, aimed at removing deeper defects like swirl marks or scratches.
-
Polishing: This stage refines the surface, addressing lighter defects and enhancing the paint’s gloss.
-
Finishing: The final step creates a high-gloss finish and ensures a flawless surface free of micro-marring.
-
-
Protection & Maintenance:
After the paint correction is completed, a protective layer is applied, typically in the form of a wax, sealant, or ceramic coating. This helps protect the newly corrected paint from environmental contaminants, UV damage, and other harmful factors.
